Awareness Session on Child Abuse on 27th November, 2019
Good Touch and Bad Touch on 20th November, 2019

All of us want our children to be safe. We want to protect them against all odds. Our children come in contact with many bad people around them. So, it becomes our responsibility to sensitize them, equip them so that they are ready to face and handle any odd situations or person coming their way. This was the reason for conducting the workshop for Std. II-B on 20.11.19. Our purpose for the workshop was sensitizing children about various issues and about good touch bad touch, makes them emotionally strong and helps them to grow normally. It helps them handle ‘not too positive events’ in life in a better way so that they do not affect their growth and personality.

Gender Sensitization on 5th November, 2019

Gender Sensitization presides over gender sensitivity, the modification of behaviour by raising awareness of gender equality concerns. Regarding this, a workshop was conducted on 5.11.2019 by teachers.
Gender Sensitizing is about changing behaviour and instilling empathy into the views that we hold about our own and the other genders.

Gender Sensitization may be seen as “the awareness informed propensity to behave in a manner which is sensitive to gender justice and gender equality issues”.

As Safe Club in NHES our mission is to make sure that each and every student is aware about safety instructions and how to stay safe.

Keeping this in mind a Quiz on Safety was held with senior students (Class IX & X) on 21 st April, 2018. The quiz was conducted by Safe Club Moderators. It was a successful event, was a fun and learning experience for all.
